DTV Plus – Ongoing Soft Power Evidence, Made Simple The Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) is granted for a period of five years, and in theory, entry into Thailand should be permitted throughout the validity of that visa. However, in practice, final discretion always rests with the immigration officer at the airport or land border. On occasion, officers may reasonably ask to see evidence that the activity under which the DTV was originally granted—such as Muay Thai or another recognised soft power activity—is still being actively carried out. DTV Plus was created specifically to address this concern. Through this program, you receive a one-year Muay Thai course consisting of 52 classes, along with a personal user account page on our website. This page clearly displays your course start and end dates, alongside your identification details such as passport information and date of birth, making it easy for an immigration officer to see at a glance that you have ongoing Muay Thai / soft power activity. On arrival in Thailand, you can simply show your account page on your phone or share the secure link directly with immigration if requested. For additional reassurance, your account also allows you to upload photos of yourself training in Muay Thai, further supporting the authenticity of your ongoing participation. In our experience, this level of clear, organised evidence should be more than sufficient to satisfy any reasonable immigration officer and help ensure a smooth re-entry into Thailand.
